                Top Chef is Mixing Magic and Cooking again. This time magic superstar duo Penn & Teller perform their cups and balls routine and then deconstruct it, making it even more magical. The chef’testants must roll up their culinary sleeves when they are asked to put on a show and deconstruct a classic dish for the masters of illusion, Penn and Teller. Established chef and owner of Michy’s restaurant in Miami Michelle Bernstein serves as guest judge.

David Blaine travels across America to perform tricks in the UK premiere of his show What Is Magic? He visits New Orleans where he carries out a money trick in front of locals, producing hundreds of dollars at their fingertips before stopping off at New York to conduct magic in front of Orlando Bloom. But the jewel in David's crown is his shot at the infamous The Bullet Catch; a trick which sees a 22 caliber bullet being fired at point blank range directly at the magician who then has to catch the bullet in a small metal cup in his mouth.

It seems that America likes opera singing cowboys more then the illusions of Drew Thomas.  Drew was not voted back for the finals this time and once again there are no Magic acts in the Finals.  Did Piers hex him saying he should disappear?  Maybe? 

Now the question is did Drew make it to the top ten and be able to perform in Vegas in the variety show at the Planet Hollywood? 

Either way I think he did a great job and I am sure he will do well with his career in Magic.

We wish him well.

Last night on America’s Got talent Drew Thomas and his magic crew got another chance to show that a Magic act has a good chance on winning the competition. 

Two of the three judges loved it.  Can you guess which judge gave him the buzzer!  Ya, Mr. Morgan again, apparently he doesn’t like the kind of illusion that has emotion.  Check out the video.

If enough people voted for Drew they will go on and closer to the finals.  there were 10 performers and only 4 will move on.
